Breeding conditions:

Three inhabited Arctic Fox dens with one to three puppies were found within 10 km from the camp. Rough-legged Buzzards bred in large numbers: six nests (containing two nestlings on average) were recorded on a 25 km survey route.
 

Rodent dynamics:

During this month a slight increase in lemming numbers was recorded; their population density ranged in different habitats from 1-20 ind./100 traps/day.
